Spring is just around the corner and hopefully that last arctic winter blast is the last. Jim and Lesley, now in their 70's have decided it is time to step back and retire. Brigitte and David will be managing the Farmstay with help from Elaine and Alan. Jim and Lesley will still reside on the farm, but will be free to pursue their own hobbies and interests.
There has been some building works afoot with a new undercover BBQ area and improvements to The Cottage and The Dairy.
We are making big changes to the childrens playground and developing some exciting new structures for the children and animals.
Nearby you can indulge in a winery walkabout, enjoy hiking, biking, or the gourmet foods and interest shops that the region has to offer.
On the farm, we have the many new poultry species (including chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, peacocks, pheasants, pidgeons and quail) with various chicks, guinea pigs and rabbits, pet sheep, goats and alpacas, horses and pigs that love attention and feeding.
Call regarding Childrens Farm Parties and Farm Park open days.
We purchased some new chicken breeds, turkeys, peacocks, pheasants and pidgeons recently and have big plans for creating big walk in enclosures for them.
Fishing and Yabbying
The yabbies will be more active as the warmer weather approaches so load up the kids and the nets and line for some fun beside the dam. Our lake has some large red fin much to the chagrin of recent guests who only had tales of the one that got away. Perhaps your angling skills will be better!
Check out our Livestock For Sale
